What is Waec Result Checker GH?

Waec Result Checker GH manages 3 data types including blog posts. Helps you organize, track, and share your work in 1 place for teams and solo users.

What is USSD and why does it work without internet?

USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is a protocol that lets your phone communicate with a server using the cellular network — no data, no Wi-Fi, no app required. It works on every phone that can dial a number, including basic feature phones. That is why *714*930# works even without internet bundles.

Does *714*930# work on all Ghanaian networks?

Yes. The shortcode works on MTN, Telecel, and AirtelTigo. You need a SIM registered for Mobile Money on that network to complete the payment, but the USSD menu itself loads on any active SIM.

Do I need a smartphone to dial the shortcode?

No. USSD works on any phone with a dialer — smartphones, feature phones, and basic keypad phones. As long as your phone can dial a number, you can use *714*930#.

How much does a BECE checker cost via the shortcode?

The price is displayed on the USSD menu before you confirm payment. The exact amount is debited from your Mobile Money wallet after you approve the prompt. There are no hidden charges — what you see on the menu is what you pay.

What does the SMS with my checker look like?

You will receive an SMS containing your PIN and Serial Number, usually labelled clearly. Save this message immediately. The SMS comes from the shortcode service, not from WAEC directly.

How long does it take to receive the SMS?

In most cases the SMS arrives within seconds of approving payment. During peak periods (such as right after results are released), it can take up to 10 minutes. If it takes longer, dial *714*930#, select "Transactions", and retrieve the purchase.
